Breastfeeding/chestfeeding is such an amazing thing. Sometimes it is difficult. I breastfed all four of my babies, but every single breastfeeding journey was different! I found different things that worked for each baby. Here are my top three breastfeeding/chestfeeding products! I am affiliated with Amazon and have included the links here.
Nursing Tank Tops
Nursing tank tops helped me feel more comfortable and confident breastfeeding in public. I was able to wear them under my t-shirt and utilize the "two-shirt method" of breastfeeding. This is where you lift the top t-shirt, but still have something covering your stomach. I utilized the top t-shirt to cover my breast while my baby was eating. These nursing tank tops have clips for easy breastfeeding, and have support for the breasts. It also makes it easy to place nursing pads for leaking breast milk.

Haakaa
The Haakaa was the tool I used to help start collecting breast milk for my return to work. I started using it as soon as I was home. I would place it on the opposite breast while I breastfed on the other side. This way, I was able to collect breast milk passively. After the feed, I would place the milk in a bag and put it in the fridge. I separated my milk into two ounce bags to begin. Then, I would put the two ounce bags in the freezer after getting all the air out! I didn't start pumping breast milk until about 6 weeks, and I already had a decent stash to begin with!

Boppy
I utilized the Boppy every time I fed. Whether I used it for the baby to lay on, or just having it nearby for arm support. It was a great tool to have with aiding in positioning. I utilized it for tummy time to promote head control. I also utilized it to practice sitting with support once my babies were older. The boppy is great, because it can be used even when you're not breastfeeding. I can still use it as a support when I am watching television, or reading a book.

Are Breastfeeding Products Necessary?
No, not necessary. However, they can be helpful. These products are useful in their own ways. All you need to breastfeed is the anatomy, the hormones, and the baby. Everything else is extra. But it's okay to make it easier on yourself and have tools to aid you. I did. Breastfeeding/chestfeeding tools can come in handy when you are struggling. These products are available for assisting parents to succeed with their breastfeeding/chestfeeding journey. Contact me here for breastfeeding assistance!
